Just when is enough ..... enough?
Can you imagine if the standard for a student for getting an "A+" is based on non-descript instruction other than
" give it your all and I'll look over what you missed, as long as you do everything the subject matter demands"
Just how long would it take before one starts to wonder..."just how much is enough .... enough"?
How much research is considered enough?
How much time is considered enough do I need to devote to research?
How words and pages is considered enough?
How is the punctuation, grammer, writing rules for dialogue?
How much do I need to be original or is plagiarizing acceptable?
Crazy .... isn't? To think that teacher is expecting an "A+" with those instructions?
Sadly that is exactly what the worlds religions offer. On the one hand God supposedly expects your involvement to obeying commands, balances the efforts from failures and certainty of eternal life is based on eventual fulfillment.
Does God view your agency, worthiness and forgivenness based on total abandonment of sin on your part?
Jesus revealed: John 6:40
That is the good news.

"And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son,
and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day."
